    Hello Family:

    I guess I will start.

We can start by improving as a people by knocking off the swearing, fighting, and arguing around children.

We can start improving as a people by not tearing each other down, when they have gained success,or just for laughs/entertainment purposes,or if they have gained a higher level of thinking and want to share their lessons.

    Peace

We need to control our own educational systems.

We need to start thinking more logically than emotionally.

We need to fight hard against immigration, especially the immigration of non-black peoples to America.

We need to become more politically involved.

We need to guard our morality.

Unity is also a key to improvement, but we must unite on the proper things instead of the improper.

We need to stop having children out of wed-lock or allowing children to be raised without fathers in the home...this is not only counter-productive but down right backwards.

We need our own nation as AfroAmericans

    Thank you FAM.

This thread is just the START of bringing each other up. Destee created this website for Black upliftment and such, and I would really like to see it. I remember back in November when we were all BUSHWAKKKED, we started talking about how things were only going to get worse, and how WE NEEDED to ALL STEP UP TO THE PLATE. This thread is a start of a strategy. From now on for me (I don't know about everyone else,) all I am going to do is favor and promote Black empowerment and upliftment. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF BEING AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POLE! I would like to be at the top, and I would like every brotha and sistah up there with regardless of gender, preference, size, age....whatever.

    anAfrican is right.

I mean when you watch MTV Cribs, you see EVERYTHING BUT an office, classroom, study, quiet area, etc. We need to get computers, and turn one part of our houses into quiet areas.

Brothers and Sisters you all have made excellent suggestions. Might I add this, we will not succeed as a nation until we achieve success as individuals and families. We need to stop our personal destructive habits then redefine our relationship as man and women. Once we can do that we need to work on the family. The key to our success is the reconstruction of the black man. The black man must assume his God given role as leader of the family then leader of the community then finally leader of our nation. We must start at the foundation. Our foundation is unstable and out of order. Anything builded on a shaky foundation is sure to fall. Armies are comprised of soldiers, all soldier must go through basic training before he earns the title soldier. During basic training the soldier-to-be is stripped of his old identity and made anew. We need basic training, we need to be stripped of our current identity and made anew.

    Peace

Okay now excellent points Radical Faith, but can you please break down exactly what our personal identities would be? You know, what would the identity of an average black person be? And what kind of morals do you suggest that we set in order to at least get on board?

What part of the black man/woman needs to be stripped?
