You only get one time to make
    a first impression, that's all
    And when opportunity knocks
you don't have forever to answer that call

    A snap decision made later
    took much too long
The midsummer sun still exudes heat in
the winter, but the intensity isn't nearly as strong

    Tomorrow isn't promised to anyone
and yet you continue to wait
If today is your last day in existence
    tomorrow will be too late

You ask, which do you regret more, those
things you did, or those things you didn't do
Lately, I'd have to say it's those things that
    I haven't done, that I rue

It's those things I haven't done, cause good fortune
often comes with time constraints that will expire
    And the consequences for procrastination
    can be dire
    Time waits for no one...

    The time is now to
Make a change if need be
Don't expect a change from a life of reruns
You've heard that definition of insanity

Crazy as it may be, you just keep on
repeating the same reason and rhyme
    Constantly expecting the results
    to be different this time
    Well, they won't

TAKE ME TO CHUUUURCH! that last stanza was so BOLD, "THEY WON'T." Everyone has a limit and i think we've reached ours, it's time for a difference.

    You aint never lied!

I guess some of us are
    waiting on the Messiah
to come and save our souls.
But the only ones being saved
are the ones who know how to

There's a deadline whether we accept it or not, thank you Tha-Emissary.
Yes, we've reached our limit, time for a change Phenomenon. Thank you much.
The Messiah won't do all the swimming for us, you've got that right. Thank you Purple.
So true queent, we so often treat change like it's poison, even though we can't live without it. Thank you dear sister.
No the clock never stops even if we do. Tick tock. Thank you So'ja.

Yes, I agree with doing something you've never done before to realize that change. Change can be frightening, but it's something we often need to do like yesterday. Thank you so much Sister asimplepoet.

Time constraints indeed!!! One thing that we all have is that! We live by the same amount of hours, minutes, seconds in the day....the only difference is what we do with that time and how we use it!

I loved this piece Sis. Watz! You are speaking to me and on FIYA!!!!!
