    Charity

The Thuthuka Charity is a not for profit organisation which combines the financial expertise of The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (“SAICA”) with a charitable mission.

Thuthuka, from the Zulu verb meaning 'to develop' is The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants transformation initiative to promote the study of Mathematics, Science and English at school level. In so doing, Thuthuka works to develop teaching skills in these areas and provides bursaries for students from disadvantaged backgrounds wanting to pursue Chartered Accountancy as a career.

The UK Thuthuka Charity has been established to support the work of the Hope Factory – a Thuthuka Wealth Creation project - and to develop and support educational upliftment amongst disadvantaged students and scholars in South Africa and the UK.
