Listen to these words I say with such sincerity
as I reveal to you what has been lying deep inside of me.
There are three words which are so difficult to say
so allow me to give examples of what I wish to convey.
For the friendship developed through the years
when you comforted me with laughter as well as tears.
For the joy you emit from your sexy smile,
please believe I would run to see it for miles and miles.
For the one who can only get me out of my serious zone
as I hear your voice, that voice with its sensual tone.
For understanding when disagreements I deliberately started,
I thank you for remaining, never leaving me broken-hearted.
It's because of you I am now able to reveal
my true emotions which can no longer be concealed.
You are everything I prayed for in my mate
as you define class, dignity and grace.
So as I say these words that are long overdue
please know my soul is now released to say "I LOVE YOU"
