    She entered the meadow on
    rays of hopes and dreams
    shining brightly over my
    vision of a life of solitude;

    she patiently awaited her time
    while another embraced my eyes
    with shadows of false hopes
    never living up to the deception;

    And yet, in my perception I missed her,
    as another attempted to fill a silouhette
    built on moments resting along the calm
    soothing essence of Savannah streams;

    I’ve always been partial to the sweet of
    peaches and cream with a glass of iced
    tea sitting on the porch listening to the
    sympony of breeze entangled willows;

    I shall await her arrival, a sweet frame
    Of delicacies enraptured in heart strings
    That will only be released by the melody
    Played from the sheet music of my heart;

    Outstretched hand I give to you with
    Eyes closed tightly hoping that you
    Will find a way to embrace me in spirit
    Over many mile separating our natural;

    ...has anyone ever told you that your words
    soothe the soul? EVERYtime i read you... it's
    as if EVERYthing becomes complete-ly calm...
    (& i needed that today.)

    thank you for the experience. :)

    :heart:
