When Ra retired from the Earth, he appointed Thoth and told him of his desire to create a Light-soul in the Duat and in the Land of the Caves, and it was over this region that the sun god appointed Thoth to rule, ordering him to keep a register of those who were there, and to mete out just punishments to them. Thoth became the representation of Ra in the afterlife, seen at the judgement of the dead in the 'Halls of the Double Ma'at'.

The magical powers of Thoth were so great, that the Egyptians had tales of a 'Book of Thoth', which would allow a person who read the sacred book to become the most powerful magician in the world. The Book which "the god of wisdom wrote with his own hand" was, though, a deadly book that brought nothing but pain and tragedy to those that read it, despite finding out about the "secrets of the gods themselves" and "all that is hidden in the stars".

So if Thoth does work for Ra this would make him a "Sun priest".

The hieroglyphs sound out the name of "Toth", also spelt "Thoth". The pincers sign signifies the sound "th" while the mound sign signifies the sound "t". This further confirms that there is no way that the invention of writing can be credited to the Sumerians a thousand years later! (See Part 12)
Thoth was second only to Osiris in the Osiris Legend. (See Part 4)

Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs were well established by 4468BCE!
Thoth is identified by the hieroglyphs of the pincers and the mound.
The pincers sign signifies the sound "th" while the mound sign signifies the sound "t".

The legend of Osiris begins with Thoth, who was credited with having introduced all the arts and sciences, including astronomy and hieroglyphs, to the Ancient Egyptians. He was also the spokesman, or messenger, of the gods and the keeper of their records. Thoth's Master was Osiris, as verified in the above segment from the Nermer Plate.

Mikyia wo (Greetings) AACOOLDRE,

Tehuti is definitely a "priest" of Ra. He has the title "Mehi" meaning "High priest". In Yoruba He is called Orunmila.

The "Moses-Fictional Character" thread on this forum shows how the whites and their offspring corrupted one of Tehuti's descriptive titles, Maakher, into Maashe, Moshe and Moses, when manufacturing the fictional biblical/quranic/talmudic character.

Ma asomdwoee-Hetep,
Ra Nehem
