Those around you can see
Some will ask many will know

The light you release
It is life
In a smile
In a word

Each day
Take a moment
It doesn’t take money
To make change in the world

Those in power
They corrupt things
The citizens sleep

I look around and wonder
This is scary to me

No one is reacting
They act happy
Down deep they are not

It just seems
They are breathing
Living like clay robots

Taking lives
Stealing dreams
Shattering thoughts

They don't cry when
Your love one dies
No changes
No difference
In what they do
Give a
Loud outcry

STOP THE WORLD

I want to get off.
The ride is nauseating
This ride
Is no fun
It hurts?

When you feel alone
Know you’re not by yourself
I am here

Those around you can see
