You start off on the top but now you rock bottom
The same people that had ya back, you call but neva get em
you were a legend but once you caught, you a stranger to em
The money they owe you is paid in full, you nothing to em
Your girl that held you down, told lies, now turns and fukk em'
Money talks, and behind bars you got none, so you can't do nothin to em'
The one friend you had behind bars was transferred, its like you neva knew him
you broke, comminsary zero, and you pray to God "get em'"

But this is what happens when you locked up for 20 years
The money gone and your down friends ain't never there
They smile, say they got you, until the money gone
And in the end you always left standing alone

year one, year two, year three and four are a breeze
But by five you're like a stranger to your own family
They ain't seen you in so long that you ain't even your son's daddy
He was months when you went in only saw pictures recently
Your baby mama done switched and slept with the enemy
Now your son's brother has blood by this dummy
You heard that your mama died but you couldn't go to the funeral cause you in the hold for fightin over money
It saddened you but at least you still got daddy
but what's the used of that cause you been disowned baby

But this is what happens when you locked up for 20 years
The money gone and your down friends ain't never there
They smile, say they got you, until the money gone
And in the end you always left standing alone

You turn to a gang trying to fit in
But one by one they are killed and
It's only you in the cut left standing
You baby mama finally comes up to the jail but by then your baby is 10
She only comes because her other baby daddy was killed in a drive by shooting
You tell her what's on your books and give what you have
She frowns but baby doing time there is only so much that you can give
You start feeling like less of a man so you turn to God and become save
In the scriptures it says trouble don't last always so be brave
God never puts more on you than you can bare so cry in your cell every day

But this is what happens when you locked up for 20 years
The money gone and your down friends ain't never there
They smile, say they got you, until the money gone
And in the end you always left standing alone

YOU ALWAYS LEFT ALONE!!!!!

In twenty years so much is now gone.
I really don't know any more to say.
Because you have scribe the start of this person time
to the point of here and now. So we all much turn to God,
and speak as a witness so other will not take that path

Peace To You
