She knows not what she wants
But can clearly see what she lacks
She feels unloved
Dreams shattered
Will broken
She says she won’t apologize for who she has become
A victim of circumstances beyond her control
Trying to pick up the pieces of what’s left of her life
Not knowing where to start
Or when it will end
Emotionally violated
Physically pillaged
Her innocence snatched away
Beaten down by the world
Left for dead
Every time she felt lonely it killed her a little more inside
Till she unrecognizable
To even herself
She’s left with nothing
A replica of her former identity
He’s no longer home to her
Because he’s the one who destroyed her
No longer her inspiration
But the cause of her frustration
She’s run out of tears
But wouldn’t shed another even if she could
There she stands alone
But stronger than she ever thought possible
No more empty promises
No more heartache
No more
This is what I have become
Stripped down to my soul
But still standing
Though slightly broken
Who isn’t
A work in progress
But I’m getting there
This is me

If there's one thing I know...is that when a woman is down
and seemingly at her lowest...she's at her strongest...
it's at that time that we can hear that inner voice...clearly
If it hasn't killed us...it just made us stronger...and it better look
out because we jump up swinging...taking everything that
was stolen..."back by force"...these aren't just my thoughts
but it's also in the words of the divine...words I live by...

Loved the way you came with this...Keep it flowin "Renee"
Bravo Girl!
