I was just listening to a news report about the shooting in Charleston, SC and I noticed a pattern. Whenever they report about acts of violence against Blacks, they always follow it immediately with a report of a police being shot. You know the saying: if it happens once it's an accident. If it happens twice, it's a coincidence. If it happens three times, it's a pattern.
White Americans are very emotional about violence against the police. The police, it is said, put their lives on the line. As if the life of every Black man on this planet is not on the line and we don't even get paid for this. They are there to serve and protect. who? Not me. So the news media is effectively upstaging violence against Blacks with violence against the police whom they love. It's also a way to make violence against Blacks seem justified in the eyes of Whites.
