In the end when all the smoke clears
and the blood dries and the stars decide
to come out from hiding and all the funerals
are over and memorials built and tears lost
    .....lost....lost
    ............lost
in between now and that space before tomorrow
    that people think deeper...
go beyond sitting at the table
of a prefabricated TV dinner and
get in the **** kitchen when it's cooking
to see what it's composed of
too many minds are nurtured with deceit
    dressed in "Old Glory"
and sell ute themselves to what is
"a **** good idea" but is far
    from reality....light can't
even touch it....I pray that thinking deeply
    will free their mind
    and soul
so I can feel the tension in the air
    dissipate with the stench
    that accompanies untruths or the
stretching of it....or is it that someone'e
been pissing in the "melting pot" we
call America and too many people are eating
from it and I smell their breaths......
.......I better buy stock in Altoids.

I totally agree with your train of thought and reasoning on this...through my eyes I see an act of hatred, combined with power, greed and intolerance....and to retaliate and do the same to another country without positive proof of the offenders identity, is a case of lowering yourself to the same standard...and it will acheive the same result...to breed more of the same behaviour...the governments of the modern world need to adhere to the old adage of, "take care of your own backyard before you try and clean up someone elses"...a good piece...

    blak,
they need to see through "media masquerading" with 3rd eye lens
i can't help but wonder after they stop playing the crying violins
over 'american tribute' will they still ignore this "race dispute"??

feed the masses propaganda and they'll "vomit" misinformation from Tajikastan back to Indiana for lack of knowledge...
(this "war" drama is bananas like my 1st year in college)

i see what they want me to see but they don't know the God in me can see beyond...
they don't know the God in me can see beyond greater and that people, countless of people WILL die later under the sun..

so who's the enemy?? i can't tell with all of these hidden tendecies by the west and the east as humans devour each other like wild beasts.
you can cancel peace until the world cease and ends, and the whirl ceases to spin..

hell opens its mouth to swallow the remains of the slain..
i'd say we should use more than 15% of our brain while the other 85% goes down propaganda's drain
for if we don't think deeper
    we sink deeper.

i feel you on this one blak.

    Blak,

I feel you on this piece. I also agree with your comment, people being too quick to jump on the patriotic bandwagon. I've been in and heard a lot of discussions about what's been going on these last couple of weeks and it truly surprises me, how some people just follow along like sheep. U.S hands are not dirt free nor bleed free. I have said to others these people did not just wake up one day and say, lets hate the U.S. I feel these are reactions to the actions of the U.S. It's very nice to see Americans trying to unite in this tragedy, but it's painful to me, when I see US unable or unwilling to do the same for US. Or the fact that the U.S ignores the war taking place right here. There are many solutions to so many world problems, however people refuse to use them because they have more to gain by letting them remain unsolved. I don't agree with the actions of those who caused such death and destruction. But my eyes are open and they see the world as a huge playground where U.S is the biggest bully in it.

I pray for those lives lost and the many lives that will be lost, if war is declared.

    see

why we are so focused on the foreign we need to be looking in our own back yards. We should have learned a lesson from the Olympics in '96 Rudolph and in Oklahoma Timothy. The first words uttered was that it was foreign. Yo own family will stab you on the back. So while we are "UNITED" for the time being, u betta sleep with one eye open and keep ya ear to the ground. This is far from being over by a long shot.
