I once heard a story of a baby and a star,
born of a virgin in a land very far...
conceived on a night that made all the angels sing...
they say he was visited by three wise kings.
They say he was in a manger,
but some say a cave...
destined to save us,
through the life he gave.

No one knows the date,
but they cherish the gift...
celebrated on December twenty fifth.
He walked the land and healed,
but never by himself...
they say he had disciples,
and the number was twelve.
They say he left home
in a decade plus two,
with eighteen unknown years,
but that's between me and you.

They say he had powers,
and thru his word he could save...
they say he made the blind see,
and raised the dead from their graves.
They say he was crucified,
but when, no one knows.
They say he was dead,
and on the third day he rose.

But those who study history,
can see thru all this mystery...
and see thru all the lies,
repeated 16 other times.
This story that we hear,
goes back beyond six thousand years,
they say it only goes to Jesus,
when with lies they did deceive us.
