Dwight howard is a sap.. no killer instinct whatsoever.. to busy shucking and
jiving.. if he had a quarter of the intensity of Lebron or Kobe or Garnett he
would be a monster.. that kid could average 20 rebounds a game if he wanted
to.. 20 points, 20 boards, 10 blocks is realistic for howard.. he has all of the
tools to do it.. but he's too hollywood to make it happen.. if he ever gets
injured and loses some of the jumping ability, he's through.. he really needs
to develop some foot work and a reliable back to the basket move that
    doesn't involve dunking..

not everyone is aggresive...would u like for him to be aggresive sure...he plays the most physical position in basketball...but has a very laid back passive demanor...mayb when he gets manhandled by someone he'll realize he needs to imply force....theres few if any who can physically compete with dwight...mayb then he'll get it...but it ain to say he cant succeed in this manner because he has

that's what sport is about.. it's gives us a channel for all of our aggression..
it's like the only time we are able to really let loose and use all of our physicality..
I love it.. I just dropped 25 pounds getting ready to get back
in organized basketball.. .. but dwight has got to get aggressive in the right
kinds of ways in order to live up to his potential.. he came straight out of highschool
and has come a long way.. I'm just talking about him taking it a step further
and getting to the kind of success I'd like to see him have.. Nice guys finish
last.. he's got to get ugly.. get mad.. put some pressure on himself to grow
as a player.. he turned the corner about 2 seasons ago.. it's time to turn
the next corner and join the elite players in NBA history.. they compare him
to shaq, but shaq had a mean streak when he was dwight's age.. he ate folks
up in the paint.. dwight's not there yet.. but I'm hoping to see him get there
before an injury or time chips away at that jumping ability..

Ima football junkie....i eat sleep breathe n play the sport whenever i can....being able to play, compete n score is like no other

its easier said than done to instill that kind of mentality...it goes aganist dwights character...i doubt he'll ever find tht mean streak...in terms of skill set if he truly aspires to be great he'll work at it n get better...but the toughness n mean streak we may never see in dwight

Howard can be a real beast inside the paint, He's a more laid back kinda player who
right now don't have the championship type of motivation his abilities and goals is to
give them just what they get right now and he don't have that killer instint to take
control of a game , he's still a role player and not a leader......Hollywood style is becoming
more and more the nature of the game , just not like the old days when players
would lay it all on the line to win the game and a title shot !
Howard still have some growing to do !

speaking of shaq, he had the same criticism of dwight howard a few years ago when shaq blasted him when folks were calling dwight superman.

it will be interesting this year to see how he matches up against the bigs in boston and miami this year.
