It's not like they
had planned it
But sometimes feelings overpower
circumstances and demand it

They took this little stroll
her and him
The sun had just set
and the horizon grew dim

They walked hand in hand talking about
nothing and everything at the same time
Their conversation had the rhythmic pace
and meaning of poetry without the rhyme

The wild flowers and lavender
made the air smell so sweet
The marsh was so cushiony
under their feet

They exchanged feathery caresses
and quick little pecks on the cheek
becoming drunk with each other, light
touches ignited passion's peak

The fact that they were out in the open
never entered his mind or her head
Or perhaps this mantage of mutual impulse
had to be instantly acted upon instead

And there they were in a lover's bayou
totally entranced by each other
wrapped in reeds and in rapture
There they were loving one another

In the Spirit of Sankoaf!

watzinaname,

I am too through with you:)! Why is it that when I read things like this, I feel as though I'am involved. You all are too deep for me. It happened with nevar(I'm thinking something was wrong, for real), and this continues to happen.

Well....I'm gonna have to take a break from ya'll, and especially you, watzinaname, this is too surreal, yet true at the same time. What Innocence:

The fact that they were out in the open
never entered his mind or her head
Or perhaps this mantage of mutual impulse
had to be instantly acted upon instead

True, sometimes you can't put up much of a fight in the light of truth. Thank you baller.
Well, Clyde Coger, poetry is written from feelings, can't help but feel the words written in return sometimes I suppose, it's life in ink, so just continue to make yourself comfortable brother, lol. Thank you for your kind words, much appreciated.
