Black Poetry : There Is Still Good In Bad Situations

My brother, my sister, what are you going through today?
What dilemma do you find yourself faced with?
Are you on the very brink of giving up?
Do you no longer believe God can work things out for you?
At this point in time, I rebuke the spirit of quitting!
I refuse to alllow you to quit.
You cannot give up and walk away.
If God started the work, He is God enough to finish it …
No matter how your situations looks right now
Beloved, There Is Still Good In Bad Situations!
Stop allowing people and circumstances to sway you.
Stop listening to the crowd of naysayers and doubters.
What is that you feel that God is telling you to do?
It may not sound right, but if God said it … do it!
In the end He wants and knows what is best for you
So I beg of you to stop and Pray with me Today:
Father, help me to understand there is good in bad situations.
As long as You are there, I can and will come out on top.
So I am asking you to hold my hand and guide me out this storm
I am trusting and believing that you will do what only a God can do
And that is turn my midnights into day and allow the sun to shine again
I know that the darkest hour is just before daybreak, so I wait patiently
Knowing that this too shall past and I will be better for the trial
Lastly, father I pray for a perfect peace in the midst of it all
Amen, Amen, Amen!​
