There are some Black people... who do not consider themselves 'Black' the way White people mean it when they say 'Black People'. There are some Black people that can withstand a 'Black' joke from White people. There are some Black people that feel 'we ARE all the same'... that God makes no difference between us all.
There are some Black people, that do not identify as 'Black' but would rather be classified as 'African American'. Of course the word 'Black' has no real legal definition as a race. The word IS the name of a color; but Black people, simply do want to be classified, identified as a 'Black' since it generally means all the people who used to be American citizens' slave property. There are some Black people who abhor the word, term, slur, " *****" no matter who is saying it. There are some Black people who own the term and wouldn't exchange it for anything in the world.
There are some Black people who agree with the oppression of Black people as practiced through White supremacy and its markets. Markets? Democrat, Republican, Liberal, etc...All religion, government and all levels of education. These markets, all, are based on their view of the world, their location in the world. Whether Black people learn these markets well or not, none of them serve the existence of Black people. They may serve the maintenance of Black people insofar as it supports the existence of White supremacy/dominance.
Comedy and having a sense of humor is the intellectual and moral death of Black people. Light skinned Blacks vs. Dark skinned Blacks vs. straight hair Black vs. nappy headed Blacks. Africans vs. American born Blacks. The hatred and disdain and continual disrespect is innate. It is a staple in the culture of ' Black People'.
One thing that ALL non-Black People agree on...? Is that they all hate all Black People and really could enjoy this planet without them. Notice how well Non Black people adopt the idea of Blacks that come from White supremacy/Dominance. Latins, Italians, Japanese, Chinese, etc...they all agree with the idea of Blacks as purported by American whites/American white supremacy. Sure they are some that don't feel that way or think that way... I've heard those rumors too. But when a white person is informing a non Black person about America's Black people in general, as a whole, what do you think they say?
Black people, as a whole have become desensitized to the oppression. We shop, consume and entertain in the same venues with all other peoples so its difficult to identify the level of oppression. Much like it is difficult to identify a virus. we can perceive how it is passed around, but fail to find its pulse in any one individual.
We worship God together, don't we. We share the same church, don't we. We laugh at the same jokes and comedy, don't we. But more importantly, we make the same amount of money as anyone else in any given occupation, don't we. We feel that economic laws are not racist at all. Black people are a commodity in every economy. EVERY ECONOMY. There is not a wealthy person or family, or, one learned in economics that would contest this fact either. Of course it could be said that all races are a commodity; however with the Blacks of the earth there is a slight difference and ever since Rome that difference has been the backbone of European dominance upon earth.
Money and laughter is the God of Black people today. Gossip and self aggrandizement is the culture of Black people today. Our spiritual growth is rooted in our physical decay; once we ruin our bodies we get a spiritual focus that we realize we should have had all along our life. A Scripture Reads:
" I will show them MY signs within themselves and within the earth ". Any idea who 'them' is in this verse?
There are some Black people... who have lost their hearing when it comes to The Word(s) of The Most High. Our 'hearing' has been filled with false doctrines and religions in English. Yes, if its in English, it is wanting, The Most High guides the heart and blesses SINCERITY.. but these translations are the root of our intellectual demise concerning Scripture.
Scripture: God's narration written by a scribe chosen by God.
Book: a person writing from their own body of accumulated information. Big difference. Black people have been learning religion through translations of Scripture.
There are some Black people, who have learned to think that they don't need to learn anything to be close to God. That another language is not necessary for the task. They believe that their belief is crystallized and needs no upgrade. I say to this thinking that there is a tremendous blessing in learning the Speech by which The Most High created the Heavens and earth, Adam his mate and their children, the speech of The Angels, The speech of The Scriptures, which ascended into the language of Prophets and humanity.
The Most High invented Speech, Reading and Writing; not China nor Egypt. Amazing how Historians study all of the documents of man - instead of the histories of God, called Scripture. Yet claim God to be All-Knowing.
When White supremacy (i.e. Black tragedies) has driven all of the comedy and sense of humor out of Black people, perhaps then Black people will begin to love and unite in Truth with one another... Drop our imposed cultural differences and unite in a culture rooted in The Guidance of The Most High.
