Home is where the heart is, but my heart isn't her
Occupation
Living
I'm weak for you
I feel like I’m six feet deep into
a grave
On my knees like a slave
And I crave
Your presence like an alcoholic craves the bottle
Can I have sip? Maybe a swallow?
If I can get drunk off you tonight, Ill go to AA tomorrow
Just take the lead and Ill follow
Although I’m a natural born leader
I’m also a natural born pleaser
I’m talking physical as well as mental
I know you’re hard to protect what’s gentle
I don’t like to destroy beauty by ripping things apart
But I’m gonna have to break your skin to get to your heart
Love is a mystery especially when people aren’t the same
I’m trying to get to know your mind before I know your frame
Because I’ve been there, done that
Sex keeps ‘em for a night, but correlation keeps ‘em coming back
I’d rather slow down and watch love take its form
Because there’s nothing more beautiful than watching something being born
Tryna connect on one accord
Looking for the richest love, but something I can afford
With avid faith, although we have no idea what’s in store
Babygirl walk with me through the door
Door of love, passion, and understanding
Starting as your friend by becoming your companion
Can’t promise perfection
And I can’t tell you what direction
We’ll be going or in a month what will go down
But I do know you had me 7 months ago and you still have me now
