I’ll have to watch the rest of video later (if I remember) but yes the population will drop. Especially in the states with so many of the younger adult generation having fewer kids or opting out to have children. I have lots of friends who have decided against having children for various reasons.

As food scarcity, new diseases, war, poverty, pollution and so on increases (because it all comes full circle) and on top of a decline in life expectancy a population decline is inevitable.

I think without more than one somethings extraordinary coming to the fore, like right now, by 2100 the human is going to be fighting tooth and nail clawing to just not become extinct.

Is this simply an ebb and flow situation that may have happened before? Or is it simply a way for the "third world" to catch up? Because I think a lot of the points he made mainly apply to the more developed countries using the pyramid scheme of employee-based retirement plans.

And imo he should be worried bout and talking bout a rather entirely different kind of retirement.
Because the retirement plan of the future coin will be irrelevant.
So forget worshipping and bowing to the golden calf.
