    The Wind Chill's Caress

I stand, in the moment of time I spend
Turning my back to the cold chill of the wind
Pained on the inside, inside, crying needless
Overwhelmed by a wave of lonliness
    Quietness all around me poised
In the busy sounds of urban noise
That is prevalent in any glimpse of sight
In any light,... day or night
I turn facing the cold chill of the wind
And for that period of time I spend
Allowing her to blow dry the tears from my cheeks
And blow calm to the disturbance with which lonliness reeks
Whispering to me as she blows by my ears, she speaks
In a way only the wind can speak, speaking my disturbance to peace

I stand, in the moment of time I spend
Embraced by the pressence of the chill of the wind
As she stroke my face with a wind-natured wisk
Naturally crisp with a nurturing brisk
Uttering my sadness to her as her gust surrounds me
As she puts her hands of breeze around me
    Airing out my lonely dispair
Confiding to the entity of moving air
Being honestly human as I cease for a moment from being strong
For the moment I cry, but I don't cry long
With gentle words from a gentle gale
She affirms my peace, and in peace I prevail
Soft and soothing is the chill of the wind
That hugs me for the time, in her company I spend
Living out the purpose, of which she is sworn
Constant shhhh, holding me as a tender soul embraces one who mourns

I stand, in the moment of time I spend
Caught up in the gentleness of the chill of the wind
As I make known my feelings, troubled and beguiled
She whispers to me as a mother does a troubled child
Softly speaking as she blows past
Soft and sweetly through the waving blades of grass
Smooth and seductively through the rustling of the leaves
Allowing her to make cool my temperment, as more of her I recieve
Kissing me with the wind current that comes from unseen direction
Putting in remission the disquieting feelings of perplextion
Consoling me in a way that is only in the nature of the wind
Whispering peace to my ears for the time with her, I spend
I hug her with reception as I dry my eyes
By hugging myself, and looking toward the sky
For helping me, helping my emotions to mend
I say thank you to the chill of the wind

I stand, in the moment of time I spend
Listening to the words of the blowing wind
As she sings her song of breeze for a while
My grimace of brokenness turns to a smile
What was once a frown is now a smile there after
What was once a tearful cry, is now laughter
What was once a mournful look is now a look of happiness
Still contained in me is me, but I'm whole, none-the-less
I feel her dance die down in creshendo
Her random cadance is getting more ordered, and more quiet becomes her inuendo
Her caress is more withdrawn as she recedes into a near calm whisk
For her time with me, I recognize is now acomplished
Such was the moment of time to spend
In the company of the chill of the wind
To be broken emotionally and take the time to mend
Allowing me now to be strong again
