    The Visitor

    I have searched the dawn
    For I morn yesterday’s dying

In my haste to shed tears
I fear that tomorrow may never be

~ What yesterday claimed it would be

    Brooding shadows
Surrounds the hopes of my dreams

    Like never before seen
    Fantasies

    They haunt me

    Dear Poet Brother Baller,

I felt the eerie longing and haunting discomfort of this piece. Truly love the first two lines:

    "I have searched the dawn
    For I morn yesterday’s dying"

The punnery is magnificent and works incredibly well.
The fourth line is my favorite.

"I fear that tomorrow may never be"

It made me ponder a great many things. Great piece. Thanks for writing and sharing it.

    (smile)

when "yesterday" was so wonderful, you sometimes can't imagine "tomorrow" coming anywhere close to giving you that same "rush," even though yesterday promised it would.

    THANKS for reading.
