The Unchristian(like) Christian

Give unto Ceasar…that which is Ceasar’s
And, Give unto God everything else


How many of you know that
Being a good Christian
Requires you to be a good citizen?

”Obey the higher authorities”
Those put in positions…Over you

My God is an orderly God…And, yes, He’s drama free
Don’t be giving me attitude when you’re speaking to me
“Love your neighbor as yourself” And obey all the rules
Don’t choose to fornicate yourself…For, salvation, you will lose

The Unchristian Christian

When he, or she, gives praise to God
And Jesus Christ…our savior and Lord
He is the one who claims to know
What the bible says…and how things should go

“You shouldn’t spank your child
Don’t you know that’s not good.”
He will try to impose his will
If he could

Coz “Spare the rod and spoil the child”
Doesn’t register as it should


They claim to love God…claiming to respect His commands
Yet, push their own agenda…whenever they can
Contradicting His dictates…when doing their thang
“This is who I am” coz their game don’t change


“I wanna be married in a church”
That’s what she said
Of her third marriage
When she was ready to wed
To be blessed by God…and spiritually filled
Doesn’t she know that goes against God’s will

When her reasons for divorce was never his cheating
Just attitude and hostilities…She didn’t contend with no beatings

Has anyone told her that an adulterous mate
Is the only justification for a remarriage date
Otherwise her marriage isn’t sanctioned by God
Just an adulterous affair…and she’s asking His nod
Like it doesn’t matter what kinda person she be
When questioned, she responds
“I’m just trying to be me”

You do yo’ thang
You break the rules
Then claim you’re Christian
Crying your (unchristian) blues

~ Do you think He’s in the mood

Whatever happened to obeying the laws, and
Turning them jaws, and
Recognizing false prophets when they call, and
“Thou shalt not lie,” and
Why do you ask why
(Did God let that happen, anyway)

~ Disobedience

Ministers in the pulpits…Pimping women for free
Wanting them in his harem…trying hard to be me

He helped himself to double helpings…of all she would give
Her cherry. Strawberry. To the dungeon, she lives


She’s “holier than thou,” with her grunts and growls
…Shouts “Amen” aloud, when she’s out with her crowd
But when surrounded by people who’re not supposed to know her
Her old personality’s unleashed…it doesn’t have to control her
All of her efforts are thrown by the way
‘til she steps in the halls of her church…on Sunday

Is it right that I judge the things that you do
When claiming to be SAVED
But knowing it’s not TRUE

(Be) in the club EVERY NIGHT of the week, if you could
But, on Sunday…O, Sunday
“Yes, Lord, I’ve been good”

Don’t claim to be a soldier…if that’s not who you are
Soldiers stand tall…will defend their position next to God
They don’t have to wonder if they’re doing the right thing
Their heart tells them so…while their soul says, Amen


Exercising faith is a thing of the past
We don’t work at our praying
For the things that we ask
We sit on the sidelines
Waiting for God to provide
All that we ask
EVEN…when we’ve lied

I
Know
That we’re human
But that’s no excuse
For being mean
Cantankerous
And blatantly abusive

Learn to love your SELF
And share that with others
Learn to stand up for right
Support your sisters and brothers
Give the whole of your heart
To Jehovah our God
That when judgment day comes
They don’t have to tell you what was​

This was a message for all!


Reminds me of what my former pastor used to say, "I'm not impressed with full pews on Sunday morning.....I'm concerened about your 'Saturday Night."


You stepped on some toes up in heah, Brother Baller!

Like they say in church, "If you can't say 'Amen," just say OUCH!" (lol)

God don't like hypocrites...

...so, if you're gonna be a soldier in His army, KNOW THE RULES--what the bible says--and be all you can be. you don't hav'ta try to fool me. God knows your heart. He sees your ALL. He's the only one that matters.

BE TRUE TO YOURSELF.
