You're going through "some sh*t"
That’s what you told me
Never said the truth
As I stood beside you
Never exposed the real
while I lay beneath you
Holding my hand and,
the key to my heart
Waiting to see if possibilities would turn to a start
Even if we were "just friends"
(who act as lovers before friends and others)
Did it become okay to lie at me?
what happens to you affects me, cuz see
I thought it was us
that’s where I went wrong
Thinking, see
you like your girls
Manipulating and conniving
Deceitful and lying
Not someone honestly vying for your heart
Female versions of you never lasted
Lambasted by you, they crazy, they blue
***** you, its probably sh*t like this that
You put them through
You told me, you held me
You listened and then positioned
Your dick between my thighs
While continuing to thrust half truths
Until what came out were lies
And I wondered and tried and tried…
And I'm still here writing poems about you
While you attempt one last run through
One last time at "I want you"
But, it ain't me you want at all
It's some manipulating, conniving, deceitful and lying girl
Not a woman who speaks the truth…
I love you.
