Oh my! I love this work of affection. Each line was so vivid and passionate.
You were truly Angelic in crafting such a beautiful picture with words. :sand:
A Poem that reflects the positive imagery of Black Fathers in America. Thank you for sharing the voice of the Black Hero who is not rarely heard. This was a great poem.

Yes, you may have had, the toughest job in the world...
but from that girl you had, ...came a geniune "PEARL".
Yeah, sometimes it was tough..sometimes mud, sometimes pie...
and there are times when you laugh,... okay, and at times you cry.
But, know what dad, you raised her... with care
when she fell flat on her face, tell it...who was there?
When the boys chased her home, ...who had the gun?
who would laid down their life for her...under the sun?
Dad, you have no idea, who to you...was born,
yes you now have a girl called... "THE SECRET STORM"...
That was a beautiful poem, very beautiful. And I know all fathers everywhere are wearing a yard-long smile on their face. It was a good thing to share this with us, thanks.

Wow!!! Sage to all fathers who are truly fathers, this does them proud. And to your own dad, he played a great part in creating the proud nubian woman that you are. I felt as though I was almost listening to a sermon. This was fantastic!
