Poet
War-torn ghetto provinces housing distant cousins
Cannot assimilate under oppressive conditions
Not the least of which is a self-hatred
So lethal that it chokes the life
Out of itself combined

Amidst the revelry of bona-fide conquests
Self-inflicted daggers find their mark
Severing ourselves from life's blood
Relegating brothers and sisters to

The Thin Black Line :jawdrop:

We do lines of demarcation

Put before us by none other

Than ourselves...

A troubled people making trouble

For no good reason other than trouble

Double trouble burst our bubble ~ time and time again
