The lessons of Garvey, Malcolm, King (who was anti-war) and Muhammad Ali were suppressed and forgotten to the point where it is our people who are still doing what?? We're still going out and fighting and dieing for European causes while at home in our own communities we are still being killed by our own and white people. The subconscious message from white people to black people has been; It's okay to fight and to kill as long as you're doing it for us or our cause but don't you dare try and do it for yourself or your people or cause.

Ali said, "f" your money, your title and everything else....ain't no Vietnamese ever call me a "N" er. Ain't no Vietnamese over here suppressing and oppressing our people. We forgot that and now find our people back in the same boat of dying and fighting WHEN THEY SAY DIE AND FIGHT...but not for ourselves or our people. Then came the game of divide and conquer. They began playing black Christians, black Muslims and African oriented people against each other even though all of us have the same oppressor. We began looking at education as being the white man's game when our people were the epitome historically speaking, of education. 400,000 books burned in Kemet when Alexander the fake went over in 1798. Over 500,000 books burned in the library of Carthage. (By the way, the word Great was only attached to Alexanders name when he conquered Kemet)

Our people built educational centers in Palestine, Syria, Media, Babylon, India, Burma, Greece, Rome, Croton, Numidia, Rhodes, Delphi, Cyprus, Crete, Kush, Zimbabwe, Punt, Carthage, the Kongo, Mauritus and more. Yet we think incorrectly that it's a white man's game when we were the zenith of what it meant to be educated. Who is teaching our babies these truths?....but I talk too much? It's getting tired? I should humble myself?! Come on brother...have you or any large segment of our people invested in the heart and soul the dedication to learn in order to pass it on to our young? I should be humble? We are in a state of war! Humbleness has no place in a war where the enemy is and has been killing us in every fashion that they can...mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually and economically.

I am proud as hell and let me tell you why. I have two books out concerning our reality and am almost finished these other two. I'm a poor brother but if I wanted to make some money I'd be writing that ghetto fabulous b.s. to make some money. I'd be writing some porno ish to make money. I'd be playing the game like many of our people to make some money....but it ain't about that. If you get a chance, come to Newark so I can take you to our organization called Waset Communiversity which is the only "black owned" building in Newark. We done farmed bees and produced our own honey. We have fresh food co-opts and have begun fish farming for our people. It's the only place where an Afrakan scholar can come to and speak and be at home. In a word...you barking up the wrong tree my brother.

If it was money I wanted, I'd be a minister or Imam whereby I can get paid for basically keeping the people a sleep...(and please don't try and say that I'm applying this to ALL MINISTERS OR IMAMS) but you got my point. By right, I should have a class on Destees every week where we get to listen to the scholars and get to expand our minds and horizons in terms of our history, cultures, languages and all else. We used to have that here. We used to have that at least three or four times a week here but I guess that was when we had people here that wanted to both learn and teach instead of telling me "how humble I need to be".

If I was less of a person than I am, I would have told you to get off my jock but I'm not like that because I understand and I never forget the shoes I was once in. All I have is a G.E.D. but I dare a Ph.D joker to come in my face talking that yang because I have the best education that money can't buy...a self education. Regardless of the 17 years in prison I done spent, the buildings I done owned, the records I done released or the life that I have lived...the truth concerning our reality has made me forsake all of that and more in order to teach and reach our people, our babies and the legacy that we must reclaim that was taken from us as a people. If you can not understand this or understand the love that this comes from, that's your problem.

One more thing before I go. Our people...we aren't as we used to be and we have a right to criticize our own behavior and though processes if they are not in line with our reality historically and culturally speaking while recognizing that we are a culturally diverse people. Then we get into these issues of "I don't like the messenger and so we ignore the message stuff". We are some messed up people in spite of our greatness that shines through every now and then. All I'm saying is "don't hate, participate" because it is indeed that serious.

Ok, now you are talking.

You told us that you were only interested in teaching and further that you found solace in only reaching one person.

But that's different from your life. You have a good life. Where you do more than teach and you reach many people. Why mislead?

I was wary that you were promoting a non-chalant individuality (like your clique) so I willed to dissuade; but I was misled by your words.

Your efforts sound great.
