    The Storm
    By Monad.poetress

Love used to live here a long time ago
But then the storm came and the strong winds did blow
Hearts were intertwined, never to be detached
Two souls existing: the perfect match

Love was the answer that made everything okay
Until the wind came along and blew it all away
Minds corresponded and wishes were granted
Until the clouds grew darker and the brew became tainted

    Love existed in every heartbeat
But the storm’s purpose was to defeat
The love spiraled downward never to be reborn
Classic effect of the perfect storm

You are good...very good. The rhyming effect of YOUR wind, is blowing me away this morning. Gurl...you're terribly tight with the pen.

I hear you, some storms can bring total destruction. Your words are so powerful and emotive here, flowed to perfection.
