If you don't mind...
I have to challenge this one assertion Bro. Meta; in regards to knowledge, more and more of real data, usable information is being held behind doors of Institutions that allow limited access. Examples are Jstor, PNAS, (National Academy of Sciences), medical journals or articles, etc... My research on melanin binding drugs is currently on pause, because much of the actual data and not speculation requires institutional access - or money of course.
I haven't bothered with my local library in over a year because it simply does not carry the authors I seek. I suppose that library stock is decided by population, etc... but all the same, knowledge is power. So many people have heard this but will waste their attention of distractions; that's why we can find pornography flooding the great tool of the internet; and often get it free, social utilities and dating services are hugely popular, but no out cry to release the knowledge that can free the people.
I loved your article though. I've got a story to rewrite with empowerment. wish me great imaginings!
But all stages, no matter how well engineered for whatever purpose have flaws. When we are insync with our Ancestors we can find these flaws.
We speak about getting a higher education, but the same books that are in the colleges are at the public library. And if you can devote your mind to it religiously, you can attend the library for the same amount of hours many others attend college. Free.
Public libraries have been designed as such loopholes in the grand scheme.
In most places where more "thought creation or thought recording" is being done more so than performance. Church used to be such a case, at least the Churches or Temples in the Ancient world, this is no longer the case. In fact, a Church is just as much a staged event as any Court.
