The amazing warmth of the sun
It shines on all the same
    Does not discriminate
    Does not hesitate
The sun shines for all to see
    You and me
    One and all
This same sun that burns your day
    Brightens my way
The same son that blinds your view
Blends my hue to a brand new view
The same sun that blisters your lips
Illuminates the true beauty my women’s hips
The same sun that does not penetrate your clouds of gray
Gently reminds me to thank the Lord for THIS another day
