    (off the dome)

the road to hell is paved with good intentions--
    yet
    every step i take
    i try to be
    all to the good--
    yet the road to hell--
    is paved with good intentions--
    leading me to believe that
there is no rhyme or reason in living
    through righteous steps--
    because...
    even Jesus was a man--

strike the iron whilst it be hot yet--
even when one might do so--
those steps mortal men take to 'improve'
    the sake of man's kind--
    they
    off--balance nature
    tainting man's mind--

the road to hell is paved with good intentions--
leading sean to believe that in light of judgement--
    everyone's goota be guilty--
    for not one is perfect

    yet realizing--
    the road to hell--
doesn't mean you have to pave the path.

    sean.
