This is a poem i wrote like last year i think! :crying:

A heart that has been broken and can never be mended.
A sharp dagger piercing through the veins that severe right down to the bone.
A tear that falls from the eyes and soon many more will follow.
The heart fears it will never beat or love again.
The veins afraid that the blood will flow right out of the body.
The tears afraid that they will have to keep flowing for all eternity.
But what is the part that is most afraid?
For it is the eyes.
The eyes have to see the world changing before it.
They see the changes happening within themselves and can only watch everything until they all shrivel to dust.
But here’s the worst part of the eye.
The eye is the window to the soul.
If that is so true then the only one that has broken our heart, pierced through our veins, and made one tear become a flood will know what is happening within us.
Why can’t our eyes have shutters upon them so we could hide all the chaos and despair that is happening in our souls?
Why can that one person know about the battles with one glance?
Everyone tries to hide it but the eyes don’t have any defenses against anyone that will hide the pain.
They have to be there for the others to look into them and let all the secrets out of the soul.
Our souls are supposed to be a great mystery to others who wish to seek out all the answers.
But, with one glance that one so called special person can tear down all the walls, look past our masks, and see the real us who we try to hide from all who seek the soul.
