Stress and strife
police and life
bullets and death
blood and last breaths

taglines and slogans
of the ghetto got me
running like Logan

14 with a baby
definitely hers
father's maybe?
crack and controversy
who's supplyin'
who's buyin'
who' cryin'
who's dyin'

son ain't comin' home tonight
sun died so mommas cry in forever nights

chalklines and outlines
landmines and mindgames
reflections feared
fear equals hate
hate equals erections
of eulogies on Sunday
Why can't the week begin
on a Monday?

pulpits are painted with words
of how good a boy he was but,
he dealt dope killing families...
irony exercised
is it right is it wrong
to not pray for the dead
who have killed?

tears are spilled
graves are filled
flowers are placed
after life is erased.
