The problem of Barak is a simple one. Lets say that all he has at heart is credible and honest. Lets say that the masses of people have indeed reached a point whereby they are indeed tired of the direction and the foundation of this country. All of that is well and good...and it indeed speaks for what many may call a new direction and energy. This would make him a viable candidate and one capable of winning a Presidential election. This is indeed one side of the coin.
The flip side of the coin is that it is the greedy and the power hungry who are already in charge. It is they who have been prospering for a few hundred years to date. It is they who have been spewing race propaganda and miseducation to ensure their survival and profits. Is it not also they who will ensure that the will of the masses never become a reality? Is it not they who have no problem with assassinations and political drama to ensure their survival and profits? What does this mean? It means that we as African people are foolish too get caught up in the idea that some black man can finally realize a dream that will never be. We are in America and I think that too many of us have forgotten or misunderstood what that really means....including the common white person
