I wroter a poem about the power of
    when we pray...
But the cyber demons took it away
The words were meant to uplift
and inspire...but it seems that was
    not Satan's desire.
So once again I come with devotion
And pray that this prayer and power
    will move into motion.

Each day when I rise and consecrate
    my day
I sing a song of joyful praise and then
    I kneel to pray
The power that does flow within
Gave me the strength to begin again
From within and without and absent
    of doubt
I make no excuses I will not turn about.

Whether deep in the valley or on the
mountain high, I feel the masters
    power is ever near by
He fills me with his power when the
day is ever bleak, he gives us unending
strength when we feel ourselves grow
    weak.

He fills the scribes with inspiration and
    gives them words to speak
And moves the majic of the talking drums
and makes the movement of the feet
Forever I shall lift his name in praise
Especially in these terrible and seemingly
    God forsaken days.

The power of the prayer you see is that
it exist for you and me
Finding solace in the source that daily
    sets all on their course...
I thank you for the chance to pray
And daily send me on my way.
Whether the cupboard be empty or full
I know that I am covered with your blessed
wool, the sheep of you pasture of which
you speak...the one lost that you will always
    seek.

Powerfully and prayerfully and made whole
is the evidence of an intact soul!

The spirit of each line is beautiful. The choice of rhymes are refreshing. I especially loved the lines near the ending...

know that I am covered with your blessed
wool, the sheep of you pasture of which
you speak...the one lost that you will always
    seek.

Poetry is a powerful medium for uplifting the soul. Thank you Ms. M. I appreciate this piece very much.

    yo sista in poetry...Joyce
