Black Men : The Plight of the Young African American Male

The rich are already positioning themselves... We have to do the same. First off we have to educate ourselves and invest in (us) as a people. Where is the unity that we used to have... When guys like Marcus Garvey have us focusing on one goal. In my view it starts with us educating each other. Everything starts in the mind, but if all that's in the minds of our young people is rap music and bling, then we have to educate them about our history. Show them how the rich black folks did it in Harlem, that's is one way in which their eyes could be open... Other than that we could just throw our hands up and wait for the inevitable.

The African American fathers can learn from the Jewish family, by coming to grips with the fact that bridging the gap with the next generation is of the utmost importance and it is our duty to show them a clear path forward.
What can African American mothers learn from the Muslim family???

It seems like you're absolving Black American women of any responsibility and putting all the blame on Black American men.
