Inside the temple
Artistic beauty is taking place
A treasure unfolding
In this most sacred place

Mixing sweet, warm paint
With a long stroke brush
Creating a picture
Best kept hush hush

Words are not needed
As the painting comes alive
The brush strokes boldly
Painting the temple from side to side

The brush is guided by the artist's hand
Enhancing his creativity
Needed for the temple's intricacy
Helping him feel what he cannot see

So pleased to paint this temple
After such a long, long wait
The artist only needs his brush
The temple provides its own heavenly paint

The brush dips deeply into the temple's base
Absorbing the paint which stirs at the bottom
This paint, the temple's liquid of truth
He skillfully moves his soaked brush upward
He sweats as he paints the temple's roof

With adventurous skill he paints with a passion
His brush finding places not painted before
The temple takes on a life of its own
The painter's brush still looking for more

Complete was his work
His brush exhausted
Smiling, he lays in a restful position
An artist in love lives for such a commission
