I talk to the pain
to make it stop
but the pain
talked back...
Could not control
the effect that
it had on me...
so I began coping
with the suffering
wondering what
would work to resolve
...the only language
pain understood
was unconscious
symbolism...abstraction
Once my issues
were diagnosed
I pre(scribed)
in silence
the images of
my mind and
they were
of YOU ~
a remarkable
phenomenon...
healing the
pain without
the use of
traditional
western medicine;
and it is
known to me
as the
'poetical placebo'
...mind pain has now
subsided...
