    :geek:

as i sit here with no cheer working harder than ever
who was the fool that said having a good job is better....
unemployment pays 2/3's of the cheddar
while i could look for another job worthy of a go-getter
but as it stands my plans are hot air with no fans
my team of three is now one...and this one wants to scream like a howling fiend
three times the work for the same pay is me...cause life don't play
and sometimes is helly gay...co-workers look at me like im lucky to stay
but on my face is that hollow place where lost souls pace
    back and forth
    forth and back
because being a key cog at the gig is a wack
when they don't give u what u need
if i wasn't helping the children my thoughts quickly would turn to greed
as i bleed on the daily....
once again illinois corrupt @ss politicians have failed me
nailed me with circumstances that hit like crucial body blows
with no glances...reduced options with lesser chances
to make a difference cause now im overworked at every attendance
social services took the biggest budget hit and politicians are not even looking to ammend this
just worried about the next election and how they will spin this
    appearance of callousness...
and this is where obama got his shine on?
more like got his grime on
cause if you play in the dirt...ur going to get dirty
no matter how eloquent ur words be
because the illinois machine is burly
    and none are left unscathed...
especially the at risk children who instead of building
are considered inconsequential from the cradle to the grave.....:ghost:

After thousands of years, has anything changed? ...why of course it has. I mean, we now settle for less just to make it to the bottom, how sad can that be? ...we will continue to get what we got, cause we still where we was ...
    "Still on masta's plantation"
    Great write brother!
