    The Niggerati Ball

    The ritzy, glitzy Niggerati Ball
    where Samboes and Samboettes
    mix and mingle
    hob and nob
    with Negroes and Negroettes
and pretend they are their masters
for one night in the glow of evening.
    Dressed in their finest
    faux elizabethan
    dancing the minuet much better
    than the Others do,
    so joyful in their revelry
that for one brief, shining moment
    they almost seem authentic.
    Almost.
    Outside
above the entrance they entered gleefully
    the lone inscription reads,
'Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.'

    mmmm...this was deep
    but the message is clear
    and so true...
    because so often, do we
    sell our souls, dressing up
    our outer man to appear
    as them...
losing site of who we are

Oldsoul...you never cease to amaze this sister
Continuously do you exceed my expectations
with your style...which is unlike any other...

Stay out of the box...You are a "Free" poet
and we are blessed because of it...

    Much love,
    Sage

We have once again entered the wisdom of Ye Olde Soul. I guess the funniest thing is when we think we're imitiating them only to discover that we were the originators. Keep flowing.

Thank you (Ngiya Bonga, Asante Sana)

Thank you (Ngiya Bonga, Asante Sana) for all the thoughts and AfrikanLove. What I write comes through me, not to me, from the Creator, from the Ancients, from Spirit. As the messenger, there are times when I dont know whether what is written will make sense to anyone but I've learned not to question, just let it flow and know that those who are supposed to comprehend, will.

As everything is not for everyone to understand, yet for those who suppose to get it...got it. Your wisdom is awesome.
