I'll be morning glory
and you'll be sun
and I'll have you to
gaze upon
until the last rays
of your light fades
and nighttime slowly
draws my shades

sweet anticipation
of your
new dawning
shall take me
into our new morning ...

...the next time

I'll hang suspended
and rule the night
you'll share your glow
to make me bright
and even when you
take on the day
I'll glance across
the sky, your way
you'll nod, and I
will smile at you
absorbing all
I am
from all
you do

...the next time
I'll be ebb & flow
~the tide
to your moon...

the next time love
can't come too
soon...

Ms. A, this flowed like a country brook. I like the opening verse. Never thought of it in that way. You have opened my eyes even more with this piece.

One

reminds me

of that song..."the next time I fall in love it will be with you"...and more. You are saying so much more here.

Thank you for showing me how it is to love so deeply, so unselfishly...you would be a flower among all the flowers...or the moon to his sun...or the ocean to his moon. Always, deriving your very existence from his brightness, his pull.

That's love, Ms. A. Thank you
