    it's not tat it's not there
    it is, and it waits.
    the myth about the light
    is about who it takes.
    it shames you with serenity
    and mocks you with tears.
    it glares its accusations;
    your departure from divinity
    within your years.
    the angels are not rosy cheeked
    their wings are of flame.
    they are the soldiers of eternity
    they enforce judgement. they place blame.

    there is no last minute redemption.
    it doesn't deal in third-hour grants.
    your last wish may be for forgiveness;
    your last thought won't give you that chance.
    the myth is false security;
    it does not provide for the black
    when your soul becomes unchained;
    and you see your body on its back
    when you stare down at material nothing;
    absurdities misconstrued as real;
    assume the hand embracing you is He;
    but God can't be the coldness you feel.

    the myth of God...

    that He waits patiently
    and suffers, and bleeds, and cries
    His wrath abatable His rules bendable
    to conform to our lives.

    this is God's anger:
    "you cannot rest.
    you cannot come in.
    you have earned nothing;
    start over again.
    you are weak
    because your defiance is strong.
    you know what is right;
    you choose to do wrong.
    I made you my child;
    you behave as satan's bastard.
    I only want respect as a father;
    you'd rather serve a master.
    I hear you complaining.
    you don't like My plans.
    you took your suicidal wishes
    and put them in others hands.
    I will not appease you.
    I will not reward your sin.
    you cannot rest.
    you cannot come in."

    the myth says....

    there are loved ones inside
    welcoming you in, or turning you back.
    not for everyone facing Death.
    there is a light that is black.
    it is a pit encased in a valley
    enveloped by a ditch entombed in a well.
    there is a black light for some of us.
    the myth lies. there is a hell.

    Don't take for granted that God will accept your fallacies in life.
    That is the myth that will destroy us, outside the white light.

    peace&blessing- Ms.Dy

    Ms. Dy, is that you?! Did you have near death experience?!

    This is wonderful - what a flow. I have never believed in the myth of the angry and vengeful god either.

    We have been praying for you in your dark hours.
