I finally got a chance to watch the movie Avatar. The movie address many issues and symbolic messages that hit home.

    1) The people on the planet Pandora were called " Na'vi, a ten-foot-tall (3 m) blue-skinned species of sapient humanoid"

    - I then reflect on the lecture given by my African Studies professor about how black men and women in Africa are growing taller.

    INTERESTING SUPPORTING FACTS/ Articles

    A. The Watusi are black, but they are not Negroes. The spectacularly tall, slender, and statuesque tribesmen are a proud Hamitic or Nilotic people who migrated to Ruanda-Urundi country over four centuries ago. Many grow to heights of seven feet or more.

    B. In the case of some Sudanese tribes, males can have an average height of 1.9 m (6 ft, 4in) (!), while women of 1.8 m (6 ft) (!). These people have slim but strong bodies, and their heads are more elongated than in the case of the typical African Blacks. In case of a mixed race, these huge heights may not be generally attained by the population.*

    C. Are Africans the Next Wave of NBA Imports?
The new group of players are not just tall. They bring real skill to the game.

    2) The Character Mo'at played by C.C. H. Pounder who is Neytiri's mother, spiritual leader, and clan leader is symbolic. It symbolizes how the Black women is the cosmic force and leader. Interestingly enough, the character Neytiri played by Zoe Saldana depicts the role of the Black woman as the teacher. Neytiri throughout the film teaches Corporal Jake Sully played by Sam Worthington the Na'vi way of life and culture.

    CONNECTION TO THE COSMIC KEMET.

    A. BLACK WOMEN AS THE ONE-DEITESS SHOW AS SEEN IN "NEYTIRI" IN AVATAR

    - Neytiri was a powerful sister in Avatar. She reminds me of the black woman deitess, "Alkebu-lan, who is a self-sustaining force in need of nothing or nobody. Thus the male being (Corporal Jake Sully character) then should consider it privilege that she (black woman) shares her frequencies with him.

    - THE BLACK WOMEN understands the mysterious force that regulates the universes. It's that gentle force of creation and justice.

Points well taken and understood, but why did Hollywood, have to make Africans appear as the stereotipical, part animal-with a tail
OTA BENGA: The man who was put on display in the zoo!
    Jerry Bergman, Ph.D.

One of the most fascinating stories about the effects of evolution on human relations is the story of Ota Benga, a pygmy who was put on display in a zoo as an example of an evolutionarily inferior race. The incident clearly reveals the racism of evolutionary theory and the extent to which the theory gripped the hearts and minds of scientists.

The man who was put on display in a zoo was brought from the Belgian Congo in 1904 by noted African explorer Samuel Verner. The man, a pygmy named Ota Benga (or 'Bi', which meant 'friend' in his language), was soon 'presented by Verner to the Bronx Zoo director, William Hornaday. (1)

The pygmy was born in 1881 in Africa. When put in the zoo, he was 150 centimetres (4 feet 11 inches) tall, about 23 years old, and weighed a mere 47 kilos (103 pounds). Often referred to as a boy, he had been actually married twice—his first wife had been kidnapped by a hostile tribe, and his second had died from a poisonous snake bite. (2)

He was first displayed at the 1904 St Louis World's Fair, and was exhibited with other pygmies as 'emblematic savages' along with other 'strange people' in the anthropology wing. This first stop in America was influenced by what some have called 'Darwinism, Barnumism, and racism.' (3)

, blue folks, (The old derogatory nickname of extremely melinated brothers "Blue")
just to get white folks to sympathise with the horros of this new thrust for global colonization, and the recolonization of Africa?

    China banned the movie

Avatar and Tribes of Africa Unite

The most powerful message I got from this movie is how all the nations and tribes on the planet Pandora in Avatar united, just imagine if all the tribes and nations in Africa unite and eliminate all forms of colonialism. Powerful. Prayer and unity.

In northern Arkansas, a 12-man speleological team broke into an ancient tunnel system, encountering inhabitants of the inner-
    world.
Just north of Batesville, explorers found a tunnel illuminated by a greenish phosphorescence where they met a race of beings who
stood 7 to 8 feet tall and had bluish skin. The beings, who have advanced technology, told the explorers they are the direct
    descendents of Noah.
The Cherokee Indians also tell of this same race of blue men . According to the Cherokee they inhabited the
areas of Kentucky as well. When the Cherokee came into that area, they killed these blue skinned men off.
