most black people are content with their situation whether it be second class, third class, what ever.
there may be some "nationalists" who see the situation for what it really is but they will always be ignored.
most black people find it difficult to impossible to be angry toward white people. they feel it is natural to vent on other black people.
you or i may see this as the result of brainwashing but the masses do not see that. they do not see the big picture.

Now I will dare to make a blanket statement as well

Any person of any race ethnicity or sex that says that black folks in this nation are content, and all that other stuff

999 out of a thousand is someone who

does not speak to Black folks on a regular basis

And then again if folks have their minds made up that "Black people are fools" then they probably refuse to speak to us any how:getout:

Wow Jamesfrmphilly, you have excluded soo many people and unfortunately have no basis for your statement. There are many examples of our people overcoming barriers, rising above injustices, advocating for their communities, seeking higher education, raising their children with healthier values than they had..this statement attempts to put such hardwork and dedication in vain.

I do agree with one aspect of your thoughts. Many of our people who have grown desensitized to our roots, do not realize why they do what they do and will quickly accept their behavior as part of their inner man..failing to see the generational curses..how much poison was fed into our people and if we don't cut it off, it will spead like cancer, which is what we see. To add, if one surrounds themselves with only unhealthy influences, how will they be fed the truth? This is why our work as a whole is so important..we must keep our vision inclusive.

Personally, I know the accuser is to blame and without the only ONE who can match him, it we can't overcome it...but that's another thread.

in fact, it is considered normal for black people to fight black people.
no where in the world are black people fighting white people.

I can agree with you on some of this, but the thread was about the ones who have not overcame I believe, not the ones who have risen above it all, though I will not attempt to speak for Bro James.

No biggie, right here on Destee.com

Do these sisters and brothers sound like they are content with the crap they see our people going through?

    How can any one
    any where,
who has read the posts, and the polls

made by concerned Black folks on

this website for over five years see that we are very upset about the situations?

And what Black person that you speak to about,
any particular issue regarding the Black community nationaly

in Phillie says they are content???,

let's be honest about this, what is this based on?

    Take out MOST

Bro. James, I find it problematic to speak for most black people without supporting literature. Yes, there is a problem with black on black violence. I agreed with you as it relates to the lack of understanding with why this is and added my thoughts of how it was born.

In general, when someone is "frustrated" they tend to express this out on those that they are "familiar" with and will have lesser consequences, especially when you look at the consequences we've paid. In addition, it doesn't help that if you don't know who you are then you can't value those like you. I'm not saying that it's right, but I do recognize the seed.

In example, prior to the Civil Rights era, black folks could only dwell within certain boundaries, although I'd argue that this exists today with an invisible line. Therefore, we only had "access" to our kind and with many examples laid should you conisider otherwise. This mentality coupled with the seed of self hate and many others has resulted with a generational curse that cannot be broken by man alone.

To end, I agree with the problem you stated but take to heart when you put most black people in a box without supporting evidence..you really aren't positioned to speak for most of us. Our people have a spiritual root that has helped many of us not fall for the lies of the enemy but rather help tear down this mold.

Kamau47, I was speaking to the blanket statement made and bringing awareness to how this mentality/seed was planted and the only way it can be broken..please read my prior post for clarity.
