YOU bring a smile…with each sound of your voice
HOPE & EXPECTATION…through a variety of choice

There is gifted brilliance in your poetic flow
That takes me to the river…leaves me screaming for mo’

Gimme…gimme
I SAID…GIMME.

But the greatest of all…is the gift of your love
Your patience and compassion
And ALL you’ve spoke of

I’ve felt the closeness of a gentle(man’s) breeze
Heard its whispers…down rivers and streams

~ And then came you ~

I’ve seen the elegance of SELF-confidence
Touched the softness of the…radiance

~ Encompassed by you ~

I’ve tasted DELICIOUS from the center of you
Smelt the (fragrance) of NATURE’S DEW

~ All in you ~

I’ve experienced the mysteries of a drama-free life
Dreamt of riches…with you as my wife

FROM the brink of necessity…change forced us to be
Me…there for you
You…looking out for me
YOU bring to fruition the things dreamt of
…Justifying emotions with a SMILE and a HUG

YOU emanate warmth from the depths of your soul
And gleam, to perfection, your knowledge of old

~ But how do YOU make me feel? ~

I’m bubbly with smiles at the sound of (your) voice
Persistently choosing me…when given a choice
And your word-choice brings chills
When you compliment my skills

~ That’s how I feel ~

As you manipulate testosterone levels
With aphrodisiacs of sensual wordplay

~ Whatever can I say ~

YOU bring all things MAN desireth in a mate
From the warmth of your smile to the STRENGTH of your embrace
Patience…Understanding…You deliver with ease
Erotically enticing…Without being a sleaze
A guiding voice…to direct my way
Always knowing…the RIGHT things to say

~ Like ~

“I love you,” when I’m leaving
“I love you,” when I return
“How are you?”
“How was your day?”
“Tell me your greatest concerns.”

YOU’re interested in me
And that warms my heart

“What did you do?”
“Was it hard?”
“Baby…let’s never part.”

YOU bring a smile to the soul of this man
And warms the heart with the gentlest of hands

When you speak of TOMORROW
And what we CAN do
Around a LOVER’S expectations
Without the drama OTHERS go through

I would accept you as my partner
…Have you share in ALL my dreams
I would be there when you’re down
Lift you up…whenever you need

And when the anniversaries begin to smile
Upon the life the two of us chose
I would SHARE with you my HAPPINESS
Let you see the wave we’ve rode

YES…I take you
I WILL…I do
FOREVER…I will
Just me and you
I DO

~ But how do YOU make me feel? ~

YOU make me happy that you’re with me
You make me glad we laugh together
You make me sad in moments of weakness
When I dream of us…in love, forever

YOU make me love you more each day
With your dreams of how we could be
Happily in like…and deeply in love
As romance abound…eternally

YOU make me want to share my life
After all the anguish OF these last few years
When “I DO” went to “I DON’T” with another
And everyday brought a new round of tears

YOU make me love the thought of loving you
And imagine the joy each day would bring
Where life would be the stage our love would play out on
And everyone would see what true love means
