This sounds good, with only reading your intro!
Money certainly has its own language so it makes sense for it to have its own science too!
I'm gonna check it out!
Ya know Shik ... i think the science and greatest understanding of money may be lost on some of us ... me ... because we aint never had no bunch of it. It's kind of like learning rocket ships, how they work, etc., never even seeing one in real life. It's just not gonna hardly be the thing one's naturally inclined to yearn for more understanding of.
I don't know ... maybe it's just me ... but it's really good you share with us ... so we ... me ... can learn ...
Thanks for giving us access to this e-book. Being an economist, I want to see the exact arguments labeled against my field of study. This should be very interesting.
Again, thanks for sharing.
and what is dude's net worth? just askin......
Not a penny. They wouldn't let him into the club. lol
so, why aren't economists rich?
I'm in the process of reading a book on the history of economic thought. It's an interesting subject, but I can honestly say I'm not surprised how the field of economics came about. Most fields exist because the wealthy were trying to find ways to control the masses and keep their wealth.
Exactly...and economists wanted to get paid. So, they hired out their intellectual services to the wealthy for a fee, although it didn't make them rich, just well-off.
The economic book/text I'm reading now is titled "History of Economic Thought" by Landreth and Colander, 4th edition, 2002. I've had this text for awhile. I'm just now getting around to reading it.
