Libya : The Libyan war for Oil has begun, POTUS serves General Dynamics benefactors well!!

If history has told us anything - it's not to trust the West. Gaddhaffi may be a horrible person, but he's just a pest compared to the demons in Europe and Amerikkka.

True evil comes in the form of an angel.

Whatever "good" intentions the West has, we should know better.

I say let the libyan people dictate their own internal affairs. Let the African people dictate their own internal affairs. Better them to make their OWN mistakes and learn from it, than to let the Whites make it for them.

It is the "Libyan people" who asked the western imperialists for help.

Kinda ironic considering Kadafi's own courting of the Italians.

Its gonna take years for most of us to sort this out.

The "rebels" based in Benghazi are accused of genocide against NATIVE black Africans. Kadafi in turn is accused of bombing "his own people" while employing African mercenaries paid for by the zionists (Global CST).

Well....since there are few NATIVE black Africans in Benghazi *they are based in Fezzan and in south near Chad* there are few NATIVES in Libya, period since they were largely killed off in the 700s, and that was the NATIVE Berber population.

The choice of Banghazi is interesting considering its role as a center of the trans-saharan slave trade as well as a center of "white slavery".

Point being, black folk have no self interest in the preservation of Kadafi's regime, or in the success of the "rebels", unless of course this is a true democratic revolution, in which I agree. Let the people decide without US and "Allied" intervention.

Modern day slavery in Libya must end.

There are civil wars all over the continent

The Oligarchies of the EU and the US do not give a hoot or a holler about Kaddafi or Libyan people

The bombs wll drop and they will thank the US now and be outraged

just as the Iraqis that praised Bush for getting rid of Saddam where outraged after million died and the land was polluted with depleted uranium

Libya just like Nigeria has great oil and great strategic geographic location for military hegemony

While we debate this

General Dynamics has made close to a billion since this post was put up

and who knows how many of our tax dollars will go to this war

while Black elders are deprived of medicare and schools are shut down in Black communities

The bailed out Fat cats and Con men on Wall street will rake in unimaginable profits tommorow as

gold and oil will have risen exhorbtantly from this debacle

and military industrial stocks will go up

as well as the price of gas we need to fill our car tanks

and the price of food we need to fill our bellies

A Corporatocracy does not give a doggone about people any where on the planet be it in North America or North Africa

Their collective focus is on wealth, capital, and more wealth by any means necessary

while we do not even have a collective focus on the future or education of our children:qqb019:

Oil isn't even the main concern. If you pay attention to which countries were initiating the entire effort you will begin to understand the why.

France: Does not want to see large numbers of refugees pouring in as a result of a protracted civil war.

England: Was embarrassed immensely when it released the Lockerbie bomber(they were lied to), and of all countries it HATES Gaddafi the most.

Both + USA: Its an example to exercise the 2005 UN agreement 1997, responsibility to protect(R2P), which will allow a broader exercise of military power to "protect civilians".

Oil is really a pretty minor reason, and even then it is to assure Gaddafi doesn't damage the infrastructure too much to limit future production(which will increase the cost of oil). Like with Iraq, people who do not understand how global markets work assumed America was trying to steal the oil. Yet, most of the contracts for oil were not awarded to American companies(mostly European and Chinese).

But, Iraq was about oil to some extent(as is our CENTCOM presence). For, in a global market it matters less which countries companies have the contracts compared to the quantity of oil flowing to market.

Oil will prove to be a major factor (not minor) and common denominator in the inevitable Revolutions (to varying degrees) that will sweep the 'Next 11' nations.

This is why the BRIC nations abstained.

Commodities Gain for Fourth Day as Oil, Gold Buoyed by Middle East Turmoil
By Chanyaporn Chanjaroen - Mar 21, 2011 4:53 AM GMT-0400

Commodities gained for a fourth day, led by oil and precious metals, as military intervention in Libya renewed concerns that Middle East unrest may spread and disrupt fuel supplies.

And honestly any one who does not believe that it is about the oil, take a look at what happene to Mossadeq in Iran

there is a thread about that here if any one cares to read

the oligarchy does not take kindly to those who nationalize their oil and

The US has been after Kaddafi since Reagan,

as far as rescue mission, these rebels are armed, this is a civil war , how many times does that have to be said, they are not peaceful protestors

Black folks are not concerned about CENTCOM, this mission is the first military mission done by AFRICOM,

Something those of African descent are very concerned about
