Sleepless nights because of you
Days without eating I’ve went through
What did you have to prove?
Came into my life, then made a move
Leaving me empty handed, the lonely thought of being stranded
Well past the point of being unable to stand it!
Adjust is what I had to do
Adapt to a life with you
Hardships and heartaches trying to pull through
Don’t worry! Get over her! I’ll find better!
Block out the thought, as if you never met her!
Impossible! I say, the taste is to strong
Bitter but sweet my body still longs
Suck it up! Be a man! Take the loss!
This is nothing more than a curve ball life likes to toss
It’ll make me stronger, build my character!
Next woman I meet I’ll be sure to take care of her!
No more late nights, hanging with the boys
I’ll start to do things she might enjoy!
Fellas take heed, an if not you need to worry
If you aren’t all ready, you’ll be telling this story!
Please be advised your heart may be the fee
Your woman just might run to a guy like me!
Someone who’s been through it! Someone who knows!
A woman shouldn’t be toyed with, but placed on a throne!
