how many Mays

do we have to miss

before we get to kiss

[slams down the phone]

jim :

this stays here

okay?

eve :

what have you found Jim?

jim :

it's Howard

i think we located his maze

eve :

well what are we waiting for?

let's ...

jim :

there's one little blaze

i think he's found someone to set his soul ablaze

at least that's the way they gaze at each other

[Eve faints]

[days later]

elizabeth :

Howard?

howard :

yes baby

who's the girl in the picture?

it's obvious you thought of her as your delicious bowl of maise

howard :

nobody sweetheart

just somebody i couldn't faze

no matter how sweetly i phrased

i love you

elizabeth :

you know i'll always appreciate your praise

don't you?

[fingers brush lightly across Elizabeth's lips]

i know sweetheart



jim :

Eve are you sure?

plays?

let's run some of the plays

we used to back in the day

there are lots of ways

to raise his hopes

eve :

it may be too late for that

her glaze is quite impressive

i don't want to be too aggressive
