MJ sure was showing off last night
Not the one who struggles for lost flight
Not the one whose career won't stop
I'm talking about MJ the King of Pop

    Michael Jackson did his thing
    His electrifying dance
The his alone style in the songs he sings
Can't call myself a true MJ fan
    But I was completly impressed
With the talent of this man

It was also good to see Tito and the boys
    Jackie, Marlon, and Jermain
    "I want you back"
    Syncronized steps still the same

I looked in the eyes of my daughter
Pounding was the condition of her heart
She looked liked my sister did years ago
When the Jackson Five topped the charts

A night of entertainment with the King
    Michael Jackson
Taking the audience higher and higher
    And oh by the way
Whitney was pitiful and needs to retire

I love it when you sing!!!!!!!!!!

This was one of those mark of the times kind of scribes...a generational piece that will someday find itself as an additional insert in our grandchildren's history books or their language arts texts...YES!!! this was was sheer poetic history BE

Keep bringing the pop poetry the way you do

    for many years.....

Sammy Davis, Jr. was Mr. Entertainment....could do it all....he was the epitome of Showmanship..for me......

but MJ....well.....he's taken it out beyond the stratosphere!

Sho you right, BE! Excellent piece :)
