Each time she notices him she smiles
The spirited smile causes much confusion
He wants to understand the inviting smile
But, he continues to conceive no solution

Is it his smile? Is he a cause of delight?
He struggles to make no preclusion
Because, something says it cannot be
It cautions him it’s just an illusion

Why is she playing in his thoughts?
What are her grounds for this intrusion?
And, at what point should he inquire
So he can attempt to attain a resolution?

For, the ring she sports on her left hand
Makes it tricky to derive any conclusion
But, if her smile is to induce his interest
He seems prepared for any collusion

The way she’s conveying this grin,
It is creating a profound impression
Now he embraces the enjoyable notion,
that they’re making some type of connection

He appreciate the sexy slant of her eyes
The soft brown in her complexion
As he contemplates the best course of action,
to secure her endearing affection?

How will he inquire the goal of her glare?
Will inquires produce any progression?
Will she somehow clarify any conditions?
Because he’d prefer there be no deception

Thus he moves in with prudence
He applies the utmost discretion…
recognizing something brilliant can blossom,
seeing it in the eyes of her expressions
