    Invited to speak—
freely, uninhibited, void of memory, conscious, connectivity….
Solutions savored in saliva, brought forth from, tantalizing
    ten fold creations in the feeling of;
forever, never, sometimes, no times, and rhymes that roll
from my tongue to the ears of every son of Adam, daughter of
Eve, and child of the Creator.
    Free speech was there, and
open minds sat by her side, watching as respect flowed
into that microphone, down and through that
ridged black rubbery line of wire, which held the saliva
in the form of thought, out through the exercise of speaking, all the way into that
perfect for sitting, sound vibrating on the seat of my jeans, in the back of the room speaker.
Which held the voice, then, released that voice, speech and feeling….that seemed to
somehow get pent up somewhere in that track from the thought to the throat
    and into….the speaker.

    Invited to listen—
relinquishing expectations, searches, definitions, boxes, labels and sight,
for one chance to use one sense for a short time grasping and groping
without the use of hands, but with the gift of understanding…
    if only the slightest bit.
Gifts of comprehension convened with patience, in hopes of
catching the metaphor that will change—
perspectives, ideas, people, homes, clubs, lives, affairs, truth.
    Truth. truth,
was I invited to listen to truth?
or was truth invited to be changed, can the truth be changed…..?
From that stage, through the use of sight,
to the sense of hearing, (which has been damaged because of what we see), automatically think of a stereotype—he’s a **** thug poet because of those braids, or beautiful people do beautiful poetry—I just came to listen,
be changed, get understanding, a different point of view….
    Can I hear it?

    Invited to read—
letters latched together on lined parchment bounded by
black or blue ink, intertwining to release thoughts, feelings, emotions,
situations, and those things that deal with the close things, that are always
personal. I didn’t write this for you, I wrote if for me, but I am inviting,
thoughts, reactions, joys, pains, honor, no honor, love or not,
I’d like a little truth. not absolute, but just truth, from your eyes, from your ears, from your mouth, to this unlined electrical parchment whose intent is to bring people together through technological advances…it’s not edited…
But please, you are invited to read.

    Nabraska....

U already know..../ this is one of those works of art that speaks for itself...
to say anything would merely take away.../ the kind of piece that makes
a person stand still in awe and speechlessness...

So I will do what is only befitting for an immaculate conception of wordworking...such as this

    ....Impressed...Totally Impressed,
    Sage

I had to exhale after I read this, it was that potent. To be able to listen to communicate, without any bias, just letting the words marinate in the mind, just letting the words flow. This was beyond wonderful poet. :)

I agree with Angelicsage, only I have some questions: where can I find your book? Do you have a book? Are you working on a book? And why isn't this piece in a book? Wonderful, wonderful piece! Keep flowin!
